Baby Animal Days

HEAVEN!  Absolute heaven for a rascally little tot with a passion for all things fuzzy.  Life doesn't get any better for Madi Mae than a morning spent petting, poking, squeezing, smelling, loving, learning and exploring a farm full of all kinds of adorable baby animals!  Train rides, carriage rides, horsies, horsies and more horsies!  Most kids liked to gaze from afar but would get a little skittish when placed in the pens.  Not Miss Madi.  She'd scoot right over to the baby calves, pick the poop off their tails, try to feed them, lay on them (get some uncomfortable MOOOOs out of them...too close for their comfort), talk and sing to them, laugh and giggle!  Oh, what rapture filled her soul.  FUN!

How does one select just a handful of pictures from such a glorious day?  I am the WORST screener and can NOT sift and filter out just a select few when every picture seems like such a choice nugget in my book (blame it on my overly-positive picture perspective--I just can't bench any of these little all-stars!)  So here I go again with a major picture overload but this helps me remember which were my favorites for when I finally get around to publishing a hard bound book for the girlies (or that's the overly-optimistic project plan anyway).

IF IT LOOKS LIKE WE WERE HAVING FUN, IT'S BECAUSE WE WERE!!!!

Look at all the expressions in this picture...HA!

Mountain Man Madi...LOVE!

Near the end of our adventure (and rope).  Try wrastlin' Monkey Madi and baby animals all day while trying to get a few photo ops in the process...FABULOUSLY FRUSTRATING and exhausting.  :)

And we're out....A GOOD TIME HAD BY ALL (unless you ask the nervous chicks, ducklings, kids, calves, foals, cubs, piglets, lambs, etc that Madi so eagerly tried to squeeze befriend).
